Why do you not work with fenbendazole aka panacur or Ivermectin. Doesn’t it cure cancer?

The issue with the use Fenbendazole and Ivermectin is that it wipes out the gut biome (70 to 80% of the immune system) as it has an antibiotic in it. It also taxes the liver and the kidneys, disrupts the way the pancreas and gallbladder break down food and produce stomach acids (these are true of Benadryl as well). Myelosuppression or Myelotoxicity is also another common side effect (decrease production of cells responsible for providing immunity and responsible for blood clotting). We want to build the body up. Not suppress it.

Does my dog or cat need a complete and balanced diet on a daily basis?

Do you eat a complete balanced meal every day? By giving a wide variety of proteins in moderation and rotation, this is how we give a well balanced diet over time.

At what age should I begin Titer testing before I have my vet administer vaccinations?

From the moment your new puppy or adoption comes home. Our first visit should immediately be a wellness check and titer test before ANY vaccines are administered. KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FIRST, And then act.

At what age can I move my puppy over to a species appropriate diet?

I have transitioned puppies onto a species appropriate diet when weening them off of their mothers (4 to 7 weeks of age).

What is the oldest age that I can transition my senior to a species appropriate diet?

Ive transitioned seniors as old as 17 years onto a raw diet and 15 years old onto a gently cooked diet. It is never too late! With Dolce, I transitioned him onto his raw diet at the age of 12 in hopes to drop his inflammation. Arthritis, Sensitive GI and LARPAR seizers (IT worked)

What are the basics of what should not go into their diet?

Genetically speaking dogs share up to 98.8% of their DNA with their cousin the wolf. This is why we preach having a species appropriate diet. The diet should be void of LEGUMES, LENTIS, GRAINS AND STARCHES! This includes green beans, peas, beans, ALL GRAINS, peanut butter, potatoes and sweet potatoes. Some of these like quinoa, green bean and peas are anti-nutrients, this means they absorb nutrients from certain foods causing deficiencies. Another NO NO is Synthetics. These foods break down into sugar, Sugar feeds YEAST, INFLAMMATION, and CANCER. Their digestive system is shorter than ours. We have a hard time filtering through synthetics, why would we think their body can assimilate it any better? Another great article to read is HERE.

*** If Not me, Find a nutritionist that doesn’t add these to your pets diet.***

Is it ok to leave my dog on one protein permanently?

Have you ever gone into a dvm (vets) office and they’ve told you, “you should be switching your kibble out every 1 to 2 months?”, No? Neither have I! Feeding the same food day after day year after year is a great way to build up sensitive and intolerances. We should be receiving a new menu weekly to bi-weekly. Switching daily may be too soon, This means everything in moderation, everything in rotation. THIS INCLUDES YOUR OTHER INGREDIENTS, like veggies.

Why is Benadryl bad for dogs. And why do dvms recommend it for MCT dogs?

MCT aka Mast Cell Tumor. Benadryl disrupts the ways the pancreas and gall bladder breaks down foods and acid production it also wipes out the gut biome which is the majority of the immune system. We can use medicinal mushrooms and support the gut, without suppressing the immune system. Here’s my article on navigating MCT. Unfortunately many DVM’s do not know or prescribe to holistic methods.

For Hemangiosarcoma bleeds. Can I use more than 3 emergency red pills within a 24 hour period?

Absolutely! You can use as per needed by the hour if needed. (this is for emergency bleeds, the alternative is loss of life) use the red pills!

Cancer dogs shouldn’t have a raw diet because they are immune compromised. Is this a True statement?

Dogs eat feces and lick their butts, give them some fresh food. Raw vs. Gently cooked will be determined specifically by that body and how it digests. They naturally have E. coli in their gut, saliva and their skin. Processed kibble is full of filler, synthetics and aflatoxins that feed the cancer or suppress the body.

Why shouldn’t I place my feline or canines probiotics into their food. Especially since that’s what the instructions say?

Probiotics and digestive enzymes are meant to be used am and pm AWAY from food. It’s not meant to break down the food, it’s meant to go in and prepare the body for the food. First thing in the morning before food, last thing before bed this way it goes in and cleans up what is left. Mix with some kefir, bone broth or into a meat ball as a carrier. NOT ALL DOGS NEED PROBIOTICS, The bottles state that because you use more, aka they like your money. My favorite probiotic can be found HERE.

How will I know when my dog is ready to leave me?

It’s difficult to explain… it’s in the look that they give you. You just know. For my clients there’s a few check ins we do for a QOL (quality of life) check.

Are we eating?

Can we pee and poop on our own?

Do we still play and have things we enjoy?

I once heard Michelle Allen of Monkeys House (if you don’t know, please do! My favorite organization to donate to!!) She spoke about “The wind in our ears”, whatever that may be, being carried on the beach because that’s where they love to be or riding in a wheelbarrow to make walks more comfortable. Enjoying the things they love to do! Look for those moments and you will know.

Why do you not allow multiple supplements in their food?

Our dogs have 4 major requirements in life, food is one of them. If I have a dog that has 6 months with us, I want them to love every moment of those 6 months with their food! I don’t want to molest their food with harsh tasting powders and tinctures. I want them to love the food and enjoy being a dog.

  • Pocket & Alisha

I think I cried more tears to Bronwyn than I have ever spoken words. Nobody ever wants to hear that their dog has cancer. The world came crashing down when the Dr. told me in a cold urgent care that pocket had cancer.  It was August and 2 weeks if your lucky was the diagnosis. I was determined that if there was any option left I'd do it. What do I have to lose? Late one night I came across Dolces Legacy and reached out to Bronwyn. From that day forward until Pockets last I knew I was never alone. Bronwyn helped me to find the right foods, supplements, tests. We switched him over to a holistic vet that opened my eyes to a whole new world.  She checked in. Somehow she managed to support me and Pocket even when I didn't know I needed the support.  Because of Bronwyn I got to take family photos, we enjoyed one more Halloween, Thanksgiving, saw santa, enjoyed a few more sunsets and had some good nights in with the glow of the christmas tree (his favorite place to nap). It was emotional but those extra weeks were good weeks where he was his normal self.  There is no price you can put on things like that when you know the end is inevitable. When the end did come Bronwyn was there for that too. It is not something anyone wants to go through but I can 100% say that those months in my life and pockets would've been different if I had never gotten involved with Dolces legacy. Having someone who understands what you are going through who can help you, guide you and emotionally support you is truly life changing. When we know better we can do better. Bronwyn will be a lifelong friend and someone I will always turn to when the need arises for extra support for my dogs. I will never trust anyone else and the only downside is that the care she can give to our pets is so amazing we will expect the same ourselves when we are sick and old  ❤️

“When she’s on the phone with you, you feel like you are her ONLY client, I know I am not but that’s how she makes you feel.”

  • Indie & Kyanna

110% recommend Dolce’s Legacy! Bronwyn has a wealth of Knowledge and has assisted my pup and I throughout our raw feeding transition. They have also supported us through detox, natural pain management and preventatives, hip and joint health, pre/probiotics, seasonal allergies, titer testing…. you name it! Even the smaller things beyond nutrition such as age appropriate exercise for larger breeds, grooming, and help with adjusting to fostering! I highly recommend and trust no one more than Dolce’s Legacy with our fur babies. I’ve learned a lot through their programs and look forward to learning more!”

“I don’t think there is enough space here to say everything I need to say about Bronwyn. In August of 2022 I wasn’t a client of hers yet and I reached out to her in desperation bc my TOBY (12 yr old Mastiff) was on his last leg. He had battled Hemangiosarcoma for a year. She told me to treasure that night and just focus on him. It sounds like a simple thing, but it meant so much to me, I wanted Toby to keep fighting and I was frustrated that he was letting me know he was tired of fighting. She helped me listen to that. She also helped me navigate the deep pain of loosing him.

A few months after he passed we rescued an Anatolian/ Great Pyrenees mix and I knew I could never feed kibble again, but I also knew I needed help. I feel so much confidence now in Raw Feeding (something I never thought I would do) and I have the tools on hand that I need if he gets a minor illness or infection and she’s always there for emergencies, No more constant antibiotics etc. She’s such a blessing in our lives and not only is she the best nutritionist but she’s become a friend too”

  • Gus & Leslie

I found Bronwyn after a friend of mine mentioned that she had been working with Bronwyn to help her 3 poodles with allergy symptoms they were constantly dealing with.  At the time my 3 1/2 year old Havanese- Poodle mix Gus, had been dealing with ear infections, oozing skin irritations around his mouth, constant paw licking and brown staining on the fur on his paws, under his eyes and around his mouth.  I was so frustrated!  I didn't know why this had happened to my once healthy little guy.  We were constantly at the vet trying to figure out how to help Gus but nothing was working.  The vet suggested we try cytopoint injections which helped the allergy symptoms for a few weeks but then when that wasn't giving him enough relief our vet suggested we add in daily apoquel.  In addition we tried switching him to special kibble for dogs with skin issues.  None of these things really helped Gus and the staining just got worse.  I knew there had to be something else we could do for him but I wasn't sure what it was.  After seeing my friend's post about Bronwyn, I decided to set up a consultation....and that turned out to be the best thing I could've done!  Bronwyn was amazing!  She is so knowledgeable in her field and she taught me all about raw feeding and it's amazing benefits.  She taught me how to use herbal and homeopathic remedies to help Gus with his allergies and constant discomfort.  We did a "sensitivies test" to determine which foods and also which environmental things Gus was sensitive to and we started to try to avoid those things. We also added in probiotics and homeopathic remedies to "clean out" Gus's body and help it repair itself. I wanted him off the cytopint and apoquel and we did that and I'm so grateful. It was a long road....probably about 9-12 months before Gus's fur returned to it's normal white color and Bronwyn was very upfront about the fact that it would take some time and we needed to be patient.  She was right...all of what we were doing was working and Gus is 1000 times better than when I first reached out to Bronwyn.  She is a godsend and I know I couldn't have done this without her.  She is so passionate about what she does and the way she has educated herself in the field of pet nutrition and holistic care is priceless.  I highly recommend her and I'm so grateful for her help!!!

  • Zoey & Kris

I can't really put into words what Bronwyn has done for me and my little girl Zoey in such a short time. I reached out to Bronwyn after my 16 yo girl had a mass show up at the bottom of her lip which grew aggressively in a weeks time. She suggested several products to immediately start on and I went to work with cleaning Zoeys mouth and mass several times a day. The smell was horrid. I was able to get it under control with what I knew from following her and the products she advised to use. Everything we were doing created some die off of the mass. It's now not hanging over her lip. And let me note during this process it was not pretty with the mass opening up and bleeding all over the place. All I needed to do was text her and I was getting a call right away to walk me through it all. I look back to those rough few days and I absolutely have no idea how I would have gotten through these scary situations without her. I am 100% positive I would have made the decision to put her to sleep. While we may not be able to save Zoey from this cancer, Browyn has given me the tools to get additional time with her and get those end of life photos many don't get the option to do. Bronwyn is just a kind, patient and calm human which is hard to find. I can't say thank you enough Bronwyn!!

  • Mani, Selah, Kovie & Becca

Our journey with Bronwyn started in Spring of 2022. I had adopted a 11yo senior girl with MCT, severe allergies, autoimmune issues, and vasculitis. I needed education, direction, and knowledge from a pet nutritionist for my girl Selah. What I didn’t realize was I would receive so much more than that. In tackling Selah’s diet and health issues I received compassion, love and friendship from Bronwyn through the hard times and our victories. In this journey everything I learned and the support I received allowed me to also adopt 2 more cancer girls. Next came Mani a senior with advanced MCT, advanced arthritis and palliative care right from when I adopted her. Then along came Kovie a itty bitty pittie with CTVT, hyperplasia and also palliative care right from adoption. Through it all Bronwyn has been with me every step of the way including meeting all 3 of my girls and being there for Mani and Kovie’s adoptions. The most valuable lesson I learned from Bronwyn is to be in the moment with our babies. To be fully present for them and that cancer does not define them. The most valuable gift I received was the gift of time. Selah lived in her physical form just shy of her 15th birthday.  We were blessed to have Mani 9.5 months from the day she was adopted. When it was time for each of my girls to peacefully crossover in the middle of the night Bronwyn was there for each decision, every emotion and to help me get through it even though her heart was breaking as well because my girls were her girls, that’s the type of love she pours into them. A little over a year from adoption we are still blessed with the gift of time with Kovie. Thank you Bronwyn for being part of our journey and the endless love you have poured into myself and my girls.

  • Lyla & Tiffany

Dolce's legacy has done wonders for me and my sweet pup. The amount of information Bronwyn has to offer is just simply incredible. For the amount of false leading information out there it's nice to have someone who can lead you in the best direction for you and your pups. She becomes just as attached to your fur baby as you are with out even meeting them, even within the brief time l've been working with her you can tell she truly does it from the heart. We could not thank her enough for the knowledge and constant support she offers on the daily

  • Tito, Bacci & Michelle

Where do I start? Have followed Bronwyn for several years now, after taking note of several of her comments on various "Raw/Holistic" sites I follow. When one of my Babes kept having recurring symptoms my went off. And Boy! am I glad I reached out!!

I feel like we connected immediately, but after reading so many incredible reviews, that IS Bronwyn. Compassionate, knowledgeable, but Lort! She's going to research here and far, to find the Best Solutions for your Babe - "Recommend" is not my word. I have "entrusted" her and I feel totally confident that she is going to research Hell and High Water to do her very best to provide us with everything she can to help.

It is Thanksgiving but I am thankful for her knowledge and her studies and her desire to try and assist in getting our Babies to live their best healthy life

You Rock Girl! Thank You for your

    Selflessness!

  • Sable & Tammy

Bronwyn was with me every step of the way when the hardest day of my life came. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and more than a nutritionist. She stayed on the phone with me through questions, tears, and guilt. My girl would not have been with me the extra time had it not been for Bronwyn.

Bronwyn I am so thankful for all you did for me and Sable and am thankful for every day I had with her. You truly are an angel

  • Maggie, Snowflake & Brenda

I have used Bronwyn twice for care of our dogs with cancer. I have also done hour long nutritional consults. The first time I met her someone was kind enough to pm me when i had a dog with lung cancer that she would be a great adjunct to her care. It was too late to help my sweet Maggie but she was so genuinely kind and loving when we lost her. The next time was with Snowflake, my parents dog. We got 5 weeks with an aggressive hemangiosarcoma diagnosis and we were grateful for every day. I have learned so much about nutrition and supplements and have become a strong advocate for our other pets. I am thankful she will ALWAYS be in my corner to help us and am grateful

for everything she does. She is there for every emergency and they never occur during business hours. My holistic vet was impressed by her knowledge and even more so appreciated her being on our team as her suggestions were very helpful. Whether helping after a horrible diagnosis or for help getting your pets healthier there is no one better able to help. I will never forget the kind woman who messaged me her information initially and i have now done the same to help.

  • Winston, Stella $ Prisilla

Where do I even begin? We had just gotten a devastating diagnosis for one of our dogs when we reached out to Bronwyn and from the moment I spoke with her, I was able to take a deep breath for the first time in months. She helped us navigate not only the diagnosis but also preparing for what was inevitable without letting it consume us. Shortly after starting to work with her and other dog got sick and she helped us get to work right away to support her. She was always real with us and upfront and talked me off the ledge too many times to even count. She helped me be a dog mom and present instead of spending all my time googling. She taught us more than we could ever have imagined and we are internally thankful for her and her expertise because we will forever be changed because of all the knowledge she gave us. She bought us time we wouldn’t have had otherwise and I’ll always be grateful for that. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

  • Gus & Kalli

I joined Bronwyn's unity program back in September 2024 and ever since, I have felt more confident and at ease with helping my boy, Gus, with his prostate cancer. I'm a very nervous person and she has really put my mind at ease when I'm feeling scared or overwhelmed. She always has an answer for me when I need it most and listens to my needs. I feel like I'm her only client when we talk as she is so personable with me. I am sure this seems cliche to say, but I truly have no idea where I would be without Bronwyn! She is a saint!
